Its been awhile, I know. I promise I have a perfectly good excuse- I had a baby!!
Baby GIRL( I still cannot believe she is a girl!!) stopped us all in our tracks and decided she was ready to enter the world. My original due date was Sept. 1st and she arrived on July 30th...wowzers! I am sure you can imagine my surprise as I went into labor that day...umm is this really happening??!! Oh, it was happening and she was on a mission to get here quickly!
Sweet Avery was born on July 30th and she has completely stolen our hearts. We were definitely concerned with her being early, but we were blessed with a perfectly healthy baby girl that was ready to come home. She is just precious and we are all adjusting well to our new little one. Even Big brother Charlie is loving having baby sister around. He hasn't asked us to return her yet, but he does plug his ears when she cries:)
While sweet babe was making plans to arrive early, I was trying to wrap up projects by mid-august. Funny right? That did not happen. I had no idea that she would be a July baby, so once we arrived home from the hospital I was back to work, siting at my computer with a newborn and a toddler running around. The reality check came very quickly and even stronger this time- I am not and will never be Superwoman!!
OK, so that is a whole other blog post in itself right? I am sure many of you can relate out there so I'll save that when I am not so fresh off post- pregnancy. It could get real.
As promised, Project Oakknoll furniture is all delivered! I cant wait to get in there to accessorize for the final photoshoot:)
[LIVING ROOM]
Project Oakknoll was such a pleasure to work on! Really wonderful client who was open to branching out of their comfort zone. Talk about starting with a blank slate, both rooms were pretty much empty to begin with. The end goal was to create a comfortable area with ample seating for family and friends to gather. Now with the updated guest room complete, guests can now comfortably stay awhile longer!
Stay tuned for more project updates and I might even sneak in a few more baby photos:)
