What a week/weekend, ready to start fresh today! When I posted that last Monday was canceled, it was no joke. Then came a canceled Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday...pretty much any day last week that ended in "y". 3/3 of us were sick and being sick for me is like being in jail. To sum it up you can only rest, drink water and sleep- zero fun, which means I am totally bored! So as being the last one to catch it, I am the last to get over it- zero fun again!
Gearing up this week to have a healthy & productive one because we have a big boy turning ONE on Monday!! Lots of wonderful things to look forward to in April.
So last week I wanted to share and talk about simple accessories to really complete your space. Were not skipping any beats so its back on for today! I don't know if some of you are like me, but once I get the final design and furniture in place I'm like, "OK, that was a lot of work so are we done?!" AND the answer is no! The actual finishing touches, like the accessories below, really add the final stamp. Sometimes its really hard to see that once all the heavy lifting is done. Don't give up, (believe me I talk myself through it every time) because the fun part is picking out MORE of what you love and seeing the final, final installation phase come to a close.
Here are some of my favorite accessories( available at retail stores, yay!!) to complete that space in your home that just might be missing a few cute pieces!

As always, don't forget about books! One of my favorite accessories is books that can be displayed on either end tables, coffee tables or console tables. Remember those college books that are sitting collecting dust?? Put them to use and get them out in the open. They can be great conversation starters!
Oh, I almost forgot! I changed the platform on my blog this morning. It was time for a refresh and some new fonts!!Let me know what do you think?
