Recap: Las Vegas Furniture Market
What a weekend! Three full days of walking, eating, drinking and best of all- starting at beautiful furnishings! It was my kind of party for sure.
This was my first year attending the market and I am so glad I did. Huge game changer for my business because I was able to see & touch most of the options I look at daily online. Residential has away's been my favorite. The textures are softer, the sofas are more plush and comfy. I literally sat in almost EVERY sofa possible between three buildings and 16 floors each. It was amazing and exhausting at the same time!
So what did I get out of it besides food, drink and fun?! Well, lets be honest I am so glad they fed us and kept us hydrated because its actually a lot of walking, talking to reps, meetings and the optional CEU classes. I'd also like to add that I am a girl that likes to eat, so they pretty much got an A++ on the snack/food game. Nobody wants a bunch of cranky women walking around, am I right?
Soooooo besides the food, I was able to see, sit and touch all the products- HUGE! If I want to sell these products to my clients and feel 100% confident that the quality, style & comfort is really there. I now know for sure and my clients can trust that I will lead them in the right direction. Other take away's were overall design inspiration and more options. I now have over 100 manufactures for sofas, rugs, accessories, artwork, accent pieces, coffee tables, chairs.....the list goes on and on. Anything from farmhouse to uber modern. You name it, I've got access to it!
